Since the advent of Naval Aviation in the early 1910s, Men and Women of the U.S. Navy have been trained to fly Aircraft. Both Carrier-borne and Land-based aircraft were and still are operated by the branch. From the first U.S Navy Carrier aircraft - the Vought VE-7, to the 'Slow-But-Deadly' SBD Dauntless, Corsair (although rarely operated off USN Carriers) and the venerable F6F Hellcat, and all the way through the Jet era to the Modern Day.

This figure represents the classic WW2 Era U.S Navy Pilot, inspired and based on the look these flyers had around the Mid-War period. Although lacking the infamous Aviator glasses made popular by these flyers, a newly introduced tan aviator helmet & goggles is included to protect your pilot's head!
